What is Ovulation?
Ovulation is the release of a mature egg from a follicle that developed in the ovary

When does Ovulation occur?
Ovulation usually takes place 14 days after the beginning of one's mentrual cycle. The exact time of ovulation varies within your cycle; it is affected (delayed) by stress, illness, diet, or increased physical activity.

What are the fertile days?
The fertile period starts 4-5 days before ovulation and ends about 24-48 hours after ovulation. This is because of the length of time that sperm can live and also the time that an egg can live.

How long can a sperm live in the female tract?
Sperm can live in your body for about 4-5 days.

How long can an egg live after ovulation?
24-48 hours.
